January 1, 2018: Happy new year!
Thank you to our clients, colleagues and friends for a 2017 filled with thoughtful and stimulating projects. This past year we:
- welcomed three new members to the team including senior software engineer, Chris; operations manager, Sandy; and software engineer, Nate
- developed interactive apps and R packages for the World Health Organization, Natural Resources Defense Council, the California Department of Public Health and others
- were awarded an exciting new contract as co-investigator to identify key local factors influencing geographic trends related to the opioid crisis
- completed machine learning, statistics and data science projects for more than a dozen clients
- launched a new and improved website at zevross.com
- co-authored 6 publications on spatial determinants of health and new R software-based data science tools
- produced a DataCamp online course on spatial analysis with R and taught R workshops around the country
